Indonesian Community Connect Inc. to host the Little Indonesia Café every Friday and Saturday

Somersworth, NH –– Every Friday and Saturday, the Indonesian Community Connect (ICC) will be hosting their weekly Little Indonesia Café from 12:00pm to 6:00pm on both days. The café will be hosted at the new ICC Cultural Center location at 156 High Street in Somersworth, NH.

It is with great honor that we present to you, Indonesian Community Connect, Inc. ICC Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in New Hampshire with the focus to connect the Indonesian community with our surrounding area through educational and festive affairs that promote the richness of Indonesian cultural heritage. We also serve as the hub of resources for all of our stakeholders which involve the people in our immediate community, the local government, and our valued collaborators in Indonesia in order to facilitate mutual understanding among different cultures and values.

It is the Vision of ICC to become a bridge that connects the Indonesian culture with the communities in the surrounding area, while establishing access to informational resources, facilitating mutual understanding among different cultures and values, and promoting the richness of the Indonesian cultural diversity. Through various events like the Little Indonesia Café, we hope to foster intercultural respect and understanding by sharing the unique Indonesian culture with local communities.

The Little Indonesia Café will feature various foods and dishes that highlight the cuisine from the different islands in Indonesia. This weekly event is a key source of funding for our upcoming Little Indonesia revitalization project, but it also serves as a way to promote local Indonesian businesses. Our vendors will offer a different menu every week, with dishes ranging from snacks and desserts to street food and main dishes. The full menu for this week’s café is available below.
