Little Indonesia's COVID vaccine clinic is still on in Somersworth, despite parade road closures

Dec 3rd, 2021

The Little Indonesia Cultural Center is putting the word out a COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be held during its weekly Holiday Bazaar series event this Saturday, Dec. 4 at 156 High St.

Much of High Street will be shut down on Saturday due to the Somersworth-Berwick holiday parade, but the show will go on for the events planned at the cultural center that day. The parking lot of the cultural center will not be accessible during the parade, but Raude Raychel, president of Indonesian Community Connect, said the Goodwin Community Health vaccine clinic will still be held.

Raychel said she has high hopes for a strong turnout for the clinic, which had more than 50 signups on the first day they were offered. She said the event is important for the cultural center, since it acts as a community hub for the local Indonesian community and the greater Somersworth community.
