Wow! Little Indonesia Arrives in Somersworth, New Hampshire

It is in Somersworth City that "Little Indonesia" comes as a long-term vision of Indonesia Community Connect, a non-profit organization that aims to build Indonesian diaspora communities, and at the same time enhance the partnership between Indonesia and the United States.

Reported by VOA Indonesia News Agency, Sunday (23/5/2021), the inauguration of this project was held in mid-May, which was attended by about a hundred local residents, including the Senator of New Hampshire, Mayor Somersworth and also the local police chief.

"We have a wonderful partnership between the United States and Indonesia. It's a deep connection between two strong democracies and I think it shows that partnership," New Hampshire Senator David Watters said.
